YELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Its mad cold out here in Sac and I'm feeling a little sick. So whats the best food to eat when you are sick? PHO!! so i'm new to this area and I was craving for some of that beef broth w/ rare meat, tripe, tendons, rice noodles and beef balls (pause). So of course i did what anyone one else would do and Yelped Pho spots in the 95843 area code. And 8 spots showed up. Me living in The Antelope area which is a city or town in Sac county I wanted a place that was close to the house. And what do you know, theres a place 15 mins away in Roseville. What i usually do is of course read the comments on what people have to say about this establisment. But this time i had to be a little more selective because I am picky when it comes to PHO spots. So what I did was I checked to see which spots had asian people leaving comments since PHO is an asian food. HAHA.. and the place that had the most comments left by asian peeps was PHO VIETNAM NOODLE HOUSE. Each comment praised the place so I went there. I ordered a Large bowl with the works. And I must say it tasted really good. The only thing I hated about the place was that they don't have real chopsticks I had to use the Wooden ones. I hate those! So it looks like I will use YELP more often especially out here in Sac. I have already searched for Thai, Burrito, Sushi, BBQ, Peruvian and Chinese food spots. And I even searched for a dry cleaning place. Oh and I searched for Filipino food spots. From what I read about these places, THEY SUCK so homecooking flip food it is.

ITS NOT ALL A SAC OF SHIT

Everyone knows how much I hate living out here in Sacramento county. But there are actually some positives in living out here. So here is my top 5 reason why I actually living out in Sac.

5. I'm closer to the snow then you are. Yes thats right everyone is the Bay Area has to drive about 3 hours to get to the closest resort. I just have to drive a little less then an hour to get to Boreal and about 1.5 hrs to get to Sierra.

4. Its quite! There are no sounds of buses or trains. I can actually fall asleep to silence. Don't get me wrong I miss hearing the sound of the L-Taraval out my window but it I am enjoying complete silence when I sleep now.

3. living out here makes me appreciate how dope San Francisco and the Bay Area is. I don't want to get off track and start talking about SF now, because this post is about why I actually like living out here in Sac

2. White woman!! Especially the new age white woman you know the white woman who have ass. There is alot of that out here. Now all I gotta do is find the ones who like the experiment with Dark dudes.. LOL.. its funny how all my friends who ask me HOW IT IS LIVING OUT HERE they always ask em about the white chicks out here.

1. FAMILY!! of course this is the #1 reason why I actually like living out here. I have basically lived away from the folkers since I was 18 which means that I only really saw my parents and bro and sis during holidays or when I would visit them once a month. So I really didn't get to see my bro and sis grow.. which is a trip cuz damn I got a sister that is in college and a brother that thinks hes a fresh ass dancer. They grew up way to fast. I remember when they were small little fat kids now they are all grown up. The funniest thing I heard this weekend was my sister talking on the phone to her friend and trying to be all secretive and saying the word "purple" like I don't know what "purple" is/means. Well yeah, it feels great to have family around.

This event began as an end of the year tradition of tournament bowling exclusively for the SF/Bay Area music,arts and fashion community. Each year becoming a highly anticipated reunion for many family and friends alike.
Bowl along side teams like Lower Haters, Get Live, Team Chu Cru, TRUE, Pirate DJs, Club Six, Wild N' Krazy Kids, Vapor Room, FTC, Farmer Brown and Fabric8 just to name a few. You can bowl just for the hell of it...OR bowl to win bragging rights and win prizes! We highly encourage team spirit and represent in "Team Themes", plus it looks cool when y'all dress up!


Kingpin Disco is a night were we ALL get to hang out as a community and enjoy each others company away from work, the distractions and industry politics. This is a great networking event too, so even if you don't bowl - just come hang out and make some friends and have a good time! Remember, bowling is not a requirement to attend this event.
We'll have some of the best DJs in the mix rockin' ON the bowling lanes all night long! For those of you who are bowlin' but aren't that good - well, you're in luck! We also give points for drinks, shots and pitchers purchased! Those points will go to your total team score!
