you arrive tomorrow at 12 midnight and I am anxious to see what's to come for Rolsuno in 09'. I promise to you that I won't second guess myself and that I will put myself first before anything or anyone. I will concentrate on myself to better myself in every aspect of life. This past year has been pretty much a pain in my ass. Could easily be the worst year of my life. But at the same time I know it will make me stronger and it will help me prepare myself for what's to come in years ahead. I promise that all the negativity from the past year won't carry over. And that whatever happened in 08 will stay in 08. And I mean everything! I promise to you that I will still be the GO GETTER I am but I will turn it up a notch and hustle harder then ever. Everything I want to do or have planned I promise that I will either start those goals or accomplish them. I also promise whatever mistakes I made in the past won't happen in the present. So thats pretty much it. 2009 lets make this the best year ever!
His Production was on point! He had great guest appearances and held his own with Jay and Nas on the same track. This album had a song for every type of listener, whether your a top 40 lover or a backpacker he had a song for you. He put out commercial hits and also Gully tracks. If you don't have this album yet I suggest you get it or ask me for a copy of it.. Cuz this album is straight up CRACK! My first listen I probably just skipped 2 songs. I even liked the song with Plies on it! so that must say something about this album.
MIXTAPE ALBUM OF THE YEAR:
ADELE 1988 Mixed by Mick Boogie
I have been giving this Mixtape plenty of burn this whole month. Mick Boogie does wonders with Adele's Album 19 and blends in saucy beats from the year 1988 with her vocals. I've put a few people up on this mixtape already and I suggest you get up on it too!!
Everyone thought they fell off. Me I thought they just came back with a better album then there sophomore album. We are lucky these days to listen to albums that have more then 5 good songs. And this album has at least 7 good songs IMO. It did take me a while to get used to it. but the more I gave it some run it got me. holler at me if you want a copy.
R&B ALBUM OF THE YEAR:
YEAR OF THE GENTLEMEN by Neyo
you already know the deal. I really don't have to say much about this album.
Seriously without music life would be pretty boring. Music takes you to another place when times are bad. Music soothes the soul. Music can get you psyched up. Music gets you in the mood for anything! So Reegsta gave his fellow bloggers a little homework to do which was DO AN ENTRY ON MUSIC OF 08. So here is my homework. Hopefully I get an A+++ *this may be a long post so be patient*
YEAR END REVIEW ON MUSIC in 2008 (from the perspective of rolsuno)
This isn't your typical song to smoke to because there are no dank references in this song. The beat itself is why I like to listen to this song when I'm ZOOTED OUT! Plus Jigga man rides the beat like no other (pause). This song is just hella smooth.
If you listen to the song this song is put together well. It explains what his heart songs are, basically which songs are his favorites and which songs he keeps singing! I must have listened to this song for about 1 hour straight while driving back from a camping trip.

Favorite song by an artist who doesn't have an album out yet:
Many of your probably have never heard of Drake. Dude could be the next big thing in hip hop. He is co-signed by many people in the industry such as Jay-z and Lil wayne. He basically jumps on Kanye's SAY YOU WILL and straight up murders the joint. Click here for his Wiki-bio

FAVORITE SONG THAT MAKES ME WANT TO SLAP THE SH*T OUT OF YOU:
This song is hard (pause) Luda is an underrated Emcee. Dude is mad nice with his flow and his lyrics. And you can't lose with a track produced by Premo! Plus scratches by Premo to. Enough said!
